Formula & assumptions
Net Profit = Order Revenue − Etsy Fees − product, seller shipping, packaging, advertising and other seller costs.
- Order Revenue is item price × quantity plus buyer shipping and gift wrap; applicable sales tax affects processing fees but is not seller revenue.
- Listing lifecycle and Offsite Ads mode are user-entered. Offsite Ads is capped at $100 per attributed order; Break-even Item Price reuses the shared Etsy fee engine.

Does shipping charged to the buyer count as revenue?
Yes. This calculator includes buyer-paid shipping in order revenue, while seller-paid shipping is entered separately as a cost.
How is profit margin calculated?
Profit margin is net profit divided by total order revenue, expressed as a percentage.
How is ROI calculated?
To match Profivexa’s existing profit tools, ROI is net profit divided by total product cost for the order. It is 0 when total product cost is 0.
What is the Etsy break-even price?
It is the estimated per-item price needed to cover entered costs while accounting for Etsy transaction, payment-processing and selected Offsite Ads percentage fees.
Does this include Offsite Ads fees?
Yes. Select no Offsite Ads, 12% or 15% to model an order attributed to an Offsite Ad.
Are taxes, VAT or currency conversion included?
