What is the Shopify Payments processing fee?
It is the payment-processing charge on an order. This tool starts with an editable 2.9% plus $0.30 example for US online-card planning, not a universal Shopify rate.
Do Shopify payment rates vary by plan?
Yes. Shopify Payments rates can vary by plan, card type, market and whether the transaction is online or in person. Enter the rate that applies to your store.
What is a Shopify third-party transaction fee?
It can be an additional Shopify charge when an order uses an external payment provider. Enter the rate that applies to your plan only when relevant.
Do I pay a third-party transaction fee when using Shopify Payments?
Shopify Payments users generally do not pay Shopify third-party transaction fees on Shopify Payments orders, so this field is set to 0 by default.
Does shipping charged to the customer count as revenue?
Yes. Buyer-paid shipping is included in order revenue, while seller-paid shipping is entered separately as a cost.
How is Shopify ROI calculated?
To match Profivexa’s existing profit tools, ROI is net profit divided by total product cost. It is 0 when product cost is 0.
How is the break-even price calculated?
The calculator solves the per-item price that covers fixed seller costs and percentage payment fees, rather than simply showing the current total cost.
Are Shopify subscription and app fees included?
